that I didn't have to have it all figured out before I got to college. Just start with a subject area that you think you're interested in and would enjoy doing, and then do a bit of research about careers in that area. Enjoying the subject matter for your major makes studying and learning actually really enjoyable.
the personalized experience it provides for each student. The smaller class sizes allow for close, personal interactions with professors and staff and I have really been able to connect with my professors as their offices are always open to discuss coursework, and they love to talk about how you are doing personally in life. They are very friendly, welcoming, and wise. I have also never felt like I'm missing out at Grove City because they have so many unique groups and opportunities to get involved in. I am constantly hearing about so many different opportunities available on campus, such as the Martial Arts club, the Quidditch team, Swing Dance and Ballroom Dance clubs, Robotics team, and more.
hang out and jam on the weekends. I made a band with some of my closest friends I met here at college, and we will often get together and run through some songs or practice for upcoming on-campus coffeehouse performances. We also like making late-night Sheetz runs.
pursue a career in the healthcare field because I enjoy caring for and showing love to people, and it fulfills my interests in problem-solving and biological sciences. Currently, I am most interested in becoming a physician assistant, genetic counselor, or occupational therapist.
