The intentionality of the campus community. The students here are interested in getting to know each other and growing together. The professors are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure students are flourishing both intellectually and spiritually. The people here are really what I love the most. I love having late night conversations over pizza in my dorm with the girls on the hall. But the quality of the exchanges I have with my professors in office hours are unmatched. My professors truly are mentors to me; they are excited to see me achieve excellence in all that I attempt.
Have coffee dates, eat pizza late at night, and just run from event to event that is going down on campus. There are always groups and organizations on campus that are hosting all-campus events.
Work in Washington, D.C. in politics. I have a heart for serving this country in any capacity possible. I hope to be able to work in our nation's capital for a period of time. Whether that involves working in development and fundraising for a think tank or conducting research for a non-profit organization, I know the connections I will have as a Grove City grad will be endless.
The importance of finding a strong group of friends. In college, your friends are your home-base while you are away from home for the first time. Every friend group is different. But I have been blessed with a strong group of friends who support all of my academic endeavors as well as my passions outside of the classroom. Classes, professors and job opportunities were all things I looked into very seriously when I was looking at colleges. But I also know that the type of people I found at Grove City College were impossible to find anywhere else.
